I had always wanted a cute litte bunny since the day I held my best friends bunny. When I was 10 I got two free mixed breed bunnies from my mom's friend. Then when they grew up they were too big for me to hold and play with. I did tons of reserch to find a bunny breed that starts small and stays small and that breed is the netherland dwarf. My parents and I looked on craigslist for about a year trying to find some netherland dwarf bunnies in our area. Finally we found a cute black rescue bunny at Fuzzy Peaches Rabbitry in Canada. Later that week my dad and I got the little black bunny and I named him Blackberry. The owner was so kind and inspiring. It was then that I decided I wanted to start breeding rabbits. My reasons are there aren't very many in this area, they're super cute and even cuter when they're babies, and I could get some money so I can start saving up to buy the car of my dreams. A few months later I bought another bunny from Fuzzy Peaches Rabbitry and her name is Periwinkle. Thats how the story began. Its definitally not over yet!
